About SHOUT Magazine
SHOUT Magazine is the only state-wide Texas gay and lesbian publication dedicated exclusively to Lone Star entertainment and events. The magazine was started in September 2004 and quickly grew into an award-winning major resource for the Texas GLBT community. Originally printed twice a month and distributed throughout Texas, the publication "went green" in 2008 and switched from a printed publication to an exclusively online publication. This allowed us to not only preserve more natural resources, but to also provide our readers with more timely updates of news and event information. SHOUT Magazine's primary editorial focus is arts and entertainment, community events, health and fitness, travel, and nightlife. More than 150,000 Texas readers regularly enjoy the publication's exclusive editorial features and interviews, humor columns, music and movie reviews, and regional event and entertainment news.
